Poetry and Photography (Series II: Cats)

Series II: Cats

This week a little ode to the four legged furry creatures that purr, whom we share are lives with. Charles Dickens, Mark Twain, Ernest Hemingway all enthusiastic cat lovers along with many other writers and artist. Cats and writers are drawn to each other it only seemed fitting that I share some poetry in which feature cats. 

Charles Dickens once said, “What greater gift than the love of a cat?”

We are forced to read them, told that every one should read 'insert classic here' "It's a classic!" they say.
Well you should, it is not that hard and it wont take you very long if you read a short classic.

Like every one else who is familiar with science fiction, I knew the basic plot of this book before ever picking it up. As always the modern popular culture through adaptations of adaptations had changed what this tale is really about.

The Picture of Dorian Gray


I have often heard of this book but never gotten around to reading it. If you know anything about Oscar Wilde you won't be surprised at the very overt undertones. I was surprised then I remembered who wrote it and it made perfect sense.
